Endemit is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone can enjoy the music and community. This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, artists, staff, volunteers, and anyone present at our events.
Expected Behavior
Respect & Kindness
- Treat everyone with dignity, kindness, and respect regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, appearance, or background
- Respect personal boundaries and space at all times
- Ask for explicit consent before physical contact, including hugging, touching, or taking photos
- Be mindful of the volume and content of your conversations
- Support fellow attendees who may need assistance
Safety First
- Look out for one another - if you see someone in distress, alert security or staff immediately
- Stay hydrated and take breaks when needed
- Be aware of your surroundings and personal limits
- Report any safety concerns to staff promptly
- Be mindful of protecting your hearing and use noise suppressants when needed
- If you see something, say something
Substance Awareness
- We operate in compliance with all applicable laws
- Do not share, sell, or distribute any substances on the premises
- If you or someone else requires medical attention, seek help immediately without fear - our priority is health and safety
- Medical amnesty: We will not involve law enforcement for individuals seeking medical help for substance-related emergencies
Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors will result in immediate removal from the event without refund and may result in permanent bans from future events:
Zero Tolerance Policies
- Sexual harassment or assault of any kind
- Physical violence or threats of violence
- Hate speech or discriminatory behavior targeting protected characteristics
- Non-consensual photography or recording (always ask first)
- Intentional drugging or spiking of drinks or substances
- Theft or destruction of property
- Sale or distribution of substances on premises
Harassment Includes
- Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
- Stalking or following
- Deliberate intimidation
- Sustained disruption of the event
- Inappropriate physical contact without consent
- Unwelcome comments about appearance, clothing, or body
Disruptive Behavior
- Fighting or aggressive behavior
- Excessive intoxication that endangers yourself or others
- Interference with sound, lighting, or other technical equipment
- Climbing on structures, speakers, or equipment
- Disregarding instructions from event staff or security
Consent Culture
Consent is mandatory. This means:
- Asking before touching anyone, including dancing closely
- Accepting "no" immediately and without pressure
- Understanding that consent can be withdrawn at any time
- Recognizing that intoxication cannot justify non-consensual behavior
- Being aware that consent to one activity does not imply consent to others
Organizer Rights & Protections
Our Authority
As event organizers, we reserve the right to:
- Refuse entry or remove any individual at our discretion
- Ban individuals from future events for violations of this Code of Conduct
- Involve law enforcement when illegal activity occurs or safety is threatened
- Make final determinations on Code of Conduct violations
- Update this policy as needed
Limitation of Liability
- Attendees participate at their own risk
- By attending, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct and accept the consequences of violations
- You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the actions of other attendees
- This Code of Conduct does not create a special relationship or duty beyond those already existing under law
Assumption of Risk
Attendees acknowledge that:
- Electronic music events involve inherent risks including loud music, strobe lights, and large crowds
- You are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing
- You should not attend if you have conditions that could be affected by these elements
- We provide security and safety measures but cannot guarantee absolute safety
Community Responsibility
Creating a safe space is everyone's responsibility:
- Call in friends who violate boundaries - real friends don't let friends harass people
- Support survivors and witnesses
- Model the behavior you want to see
- Help us build a better community
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Code of Conduct at any time. The current version will always be available at endemit.org/code-of-conduct

By purchasing a ticket, entering the venue, or participating in our event, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
