The older you get, the smaller the world grows.
The innocence of the youth crew
stayed behind somewhere in the rearview mirror.
Back when you first winked at Bojan in the back row.
The sparking glances of those first teenage years.
Backs still unbent.

The enrolment form for uni, filled out,
that triumphant mug when the driving licence
landed in your hands.

The question then: could anything still stop you?
A few years on, it seems plenty can.
Work, balance sheets, or the government
when they nearly ban your parties.
Life's built so — lucky for us —
you can only give up once it's over.

Deserters of adult life, gather now,
on half-board from our youth,
scarf round the neck, a sparkler in hand.
The youth community will slowly be just a term
taught in an elective at the last analog school.

The real escape is always backward, never forward.
There, where for the first time you choose
between girls, competitiveness and ego.
Too long you've carried too heavy a rucksack —
so take only the light things along for the road.
The expedition goes its own way.

Tamorra

Tamorra, through studying the terrains at previous endemic gatherings, awakened in himself the primal instincts of fatal attraction. Between him and us, between music and mind, between intimate ritual and the liberation from the constraints of early adulthood. If we were shooting that film today, Matija would be one of the main reasons for the disco. It's time for him to put his piece on our table.

Inland

Inland

Ed Davenport / Inland is one of those, an endemic who more than embodies these virtues and human qualities. With roots in pre-Brexit England, he came onto the scene in the golden analog days when pills still contained the right sugar mix, and the world bet everything on quality in white label. Over the years, this production guru built a strong repertoire—there's no temple that hasn't blessed his monuments. With his home labels Counterchange and BRETT, he constantly grinds forward and plans new sonic-architectural projects to stabilize the foundations for the next XYZ generations.

In 1976, when they were shooting that film, he was late to the casting, so he played his role on the Carinthian fields of youth revolutions. As soon as he calibrated the Carinthian autochthonous forests along the Drava river, his recognizable sound moved to Ljubljana, where even today, three generations' legs twitch when you mention he's coming to the mixer.

MMali / Issun-bōshi releases dragons while others hunt them, and builds emotional bridges that we long ago thought would remain somewhere in the corridors of memories from younger years—when bass still echoed from Rog. In times when fake gurus on podcasts advise that you need to work on yourself every day, you'll do the most for yourself if you're at the right time—in the front row.
